We officially conclude the active solicitation phase of our parish campaign Renew + Rebuild. Thanks to 371 parishioner donors and their families, I write to tell you that SGB has met and surpassed its goal with a total of $1,519,720.  Congratulations! In our 55 years, we have never raised anywhere near that amount. The purpose of this historic campaign was to provide funds for necessary repairs and upgrades to our church, school, parish residence and offices and campus. This work will continue over the next five years until it is all complete. Brochures with the complete case statement are still in the narthex and chapel and explain nicely what we are intending to do here.

So, today, I offer you my deep gratitude and I make another pitch for participation because this has been very important to me, the future of our parish, religious education, the building which houses our regional school, and all the other programs we offer here. I am wondering if you will be interested in this request to make a pledge over five years, or a one-time gift, especially if you find yourself and your family involved here and if you love this parish and its mission. A gift at any level is something that only you can determine; but for me, I want so much to be able to include
you in our success. Please pray about this once again. It is a big decision to make, and it needs the guidance of the Lord who has given us every good thing.
